Under The Veil is a bridal and formalwear boutique in the Sarina Beach Road Shopping Centre, about 35 kilometres south of Mackay. Founded in 2009 by Samantha Cumming, who wanted "a beautiful boutique with exceptional customer service in the Mackay region", it is a showroom rather than a shop floor: appointment-only, with a personal stylist, a chandelier-lit fitting room and curtained bays.

Dress Styles & Designers

Seventy wedding gowns are published, led by Tania Olsen Designs - including the 2025 Amour and Bisou collections - alongside Allure Bridals and Allure Romance, Abella by Allure, Wilderly Bride, Peter Trends Bridal, Rachel Rose and the Diva Curves range. The silhouettes run from boned Alençon-lace bodices on A-line tulle skirts through strapless ballgowns with lace-up backs to satin corset sheaths with detachable straps. Dress Experience

Under The Veil trades from a showroom in the Sarina Beach Road Shopping Centre, about 35 kilometres south of Mackay, and describes the room as "an extension of your home, comfortable, relaxed luxury in a private setting". The boutique was founded in 2009 by Samantha Cumming, who the store says "set out to open a beautiful boutique with exceptional customer service in the Mackay region". Appointments are the only way in: brides call and leave a message to book, and are then met by a personal stylist who takes them through the sample range while their guests relax.
