Away With The Faeries is Nicki Hearn designer, dressmaker, textile designer and corset specialist working from a home studio on the Sunshine Coast since 2012. She has full pattern-making skills and says plainly that “fitting is my speciality”. Every design is a one-off.

Dress Styles & Designers

No labels — everything is her own. Gowns are made to your design in silk, lace, Swarovski crystal, diamanté and beading, down to lightweight satins and even feathers, in any colour and any silhouette. Her own bridal pieces run from a fully boned beaded-tulle gown to a laced corset with a skirt made to match, a soft tulle ballroom skirt, a detachable georgette overskirt and a faux fur wrap. She also makes mother-of-the-bride and mother-of-the-groom, bridesmaid and flower-girl dresses.
