About

Appointment Policy

• Appointment only, and walk-ins are not accommodated: "all visits to our studio are by appointment only", and "walk-ins cannot be accommodated due to high demand".
• No appointment fee: "There is no booking fee and no obligation to purchase. Your appointment is completely free."
• Appointments run 1 hour 15 minutes with no cap on gowns tried: "there is no limit on how many dresses you can try on during that time. If you need a little longer, we will always do our best to stay with you."
• Up to four guests: "Our studio can comfortably seat four guests alongside you, which also tends to keep the experience relaxed, focused, and enjoyable."
• Appointments run Thursday to Saturday, with flexibility offered: "We welcome appointments on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. If another day suits you better, we will do our best to make it happen." Published hours are Thursday 3pm–8pm and Friday and Saturday 9am–5pm.
• Booking is online via calendly or by phone on 1300 110 246 "during business hours".
• What to bring: "nude or seamless underwear", the heel height planned for the day, and "light makeup is fine but we ask that you avoid heavy foundation or fake tan to help protect our gowns".
• Book early, particularly friday and saturday, "which are our busiest days". For made-to-order gowns "most brides start shopping 6 to 12 months before their wedding".
• Parking is available at the studio, with details sent in the appointment confirmation email.

Dress Designers

• Hunnilee & Lusch. Description: Designed exclusively for Brides First Forever and made in-house: "our signature brands Hunnilee and Lusch are created by our talented in-house designer and crafted by our skilled team". Made-to-measure and fully customisable — brides can combine elements from different designs, adjust neckline heights, or add or remove sleeves. The store's largest range: 28 of its 58 gallery gowns carry this label.
• Tania Olsen Designs. Description: "Celebrated for reshaping the landscape of wedding, formal and bridesmaid dresses", with gowns "all about inclusivity and affordability, available in sizes 2 to 40". The store notes the label is "just down the road in Brisbane", giving it access to the team and warehouse.

Dress Experience

• Brides First Forever is a by-appointment bridal studio at Mountain Creek on the Sunshine Coast, run by Gianna and Alyssa, a mother-daughter duo who took over from founders Simon and Debbie. Appointments are private and one-on-one — "you will not be sharing the space with another bridal party" — run for 1 hour 15 minutes with no limit on how many dresses you try on, seat up to four guests, and carry no booking fee and no obligation to purchase. The store describes it as "a private, free, and homely experience, no matter your booking time". Sample gowns are stocked in sizes 6 to 24 so most brides can try a gown on properly, and made-to-order gowns are cut to the bride's own measurements with "extended sizing well beyond our sample range". Appointments run Thursday to Saturday, with the store adding that "if another day suits you better, we will do our best to make it happen".

• Sample sale gowns run $300 to $1200 against RRPs of $799 to $2895 — 10 gowns are currently carded, most at $500.
• Formal and bridesmaid clearance is $50 in the online shop, and ex-sample bridal gowns are $500 there — the same $500 the sale cards show.
