The Flower Grocer is Cherie’s studio at Rangeville in Toowoomba, working across the Darling Downs and South East Queensland. She came to floristry from twenty years of visual merchandising, window dressing and event design, and the wedding work reads that way - styled as a whole room rather than assembled bunch by bunch.
Style & Signature Blooms
Bespoke and personality-led. The portfolio moves between soft vintage bouquets, dark burgundy and dried autumn palettes, blue and white ceremony installations on wine barrels, and long reception tables run with greenery. Fresh or faux, depending on what the day needs.
Ideal For
Couples who want a stylist as much as a florist, at any scale - the studio takes weddings from twenty guests to two hundred - and who like the idea of one person seeing the whole look through. Cherie also keeps a small range of vintage pieces for hire to finish a table or a ceremony.

There are no pre-priced wedding packages, and quotes are not given over the phone or through social media at all. An enquiry form leads to a meeting where the options and an initial costing are worked through. The studio is open weekdays with Monday afternoons by appointment, and delivery runs Monday to Friday between Toowoomba and Plainland at a $22 flat rate.
Standout Feature
Cherie learned her trade in the David Jones window dressing team, working alongside some of Australia’s most elite florists to launch the annual Spring Flower Show - which is where the idea for The Flower Grocer started. The studio was named the region’s number one wedding florist in the 2020 Brides Choice Awards for Southern Queensland Country, and has been featured in both Queensland Brides and Brisbane Weddings magazines.

- The studio at 43 Parsons Street, Rangeville is open Tuesday to Friday 8.30am to 4pm with Monday afternoons by appointment; a second published schedule lists Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 10.30am to 4pm, Wednesday 9am to 4pm, Friday 8.30am to 4pm and weekends by appointment.
