About

Overview & Vibe

Invited in Style is a small Adelaide studio based near Glen Osmond, run by a designer who made her own wedding stationery in 2004 and turned it into a business. Her terms say all products are lovingly handmade by the studio, and she handles the design and the printing herself. The range runs well beyond invitations: order of service booklets, guest books, wishing well and guest book signs, unity candles, vow booklets, place cards, menus and table numbers, plus loose components for couples who want to assemble their own.

Style & Printing

The designs lean botanical and floral — watercolour blooms, greenery wreaths, laurel and bunches — alongside clean modern and minimalist lettering, a few vintage and whimsical pieces, and monogram work. Printing is in black or colour ink, with white ink for dark stocks and foil where you want shine. Her laser cut collection covers lace-pattern wraps and pocketfolds, and she works with embossed and metallic papers, handmade cotton paper, vellum and wax seals.

Ideal For

Couples who want a coordinated set from one maker rather than piecing it together, and who want to see each design’s price before enquiring — printing your guests’ names on the invitations and a premium coloured envelope are included rather than added on. It also suits couples doing some of the work themselves: the DIY range sells the pocketfolds, wraps, belly bands and wax seal kits on their own. Adelaide couples can collect from Glen Osmond rather than have the order posted.

The Need-to-Knows

Allow two to four weeks, longer in peak season. Minimum orders are set per product and run from 20 to 50 — usually 20 or 30 sets for invitations. Half the order total is held as a non-refundable deposit, because it buys the materials and pays for the artwork up front. Some prices move: laser cut designs vary with the wrap colour and with what you include, envelope printing carries a flat set up fee, and white ink on envelopes is charged per envelope. Orders are placed through her shop, with office hours Monday to Friday and a reply within a business day, and she suggests buying a printed sample first so you can handle the paper and finish before you commit. A digital proof comes before anything is printed.

Standout Feature

The order of service booklets are offered two ways. She can design and format the whole thing for a one-off set up fee on top of the per-booklet price, or, if you have already written and laid out your wording, she will simply print, fold and staple it for you at a lower rate.

Appointment Policy

  • Orders are placed through the studio's own shop, and enquiries are answered within a business day during office hours of Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5pm.
  • She recommends buying a printed sample before ordering, so you can see and feel the colour, sizing and finish for yourself. Once you order, she sends email proofs of the wording and design along with a choice of fonts to pick from. Custom designs are quoted on request.

Areas Serviced

  • Orders are completed and sent from South Australia, and local pick up is welcome from Glen Osmond for orders placed on the studio's own shop or its Etsy store.
  • International shipping is available to selected countries outside Australia, but it has to be arranged with her before the order is placed.

Booking & Deposit

  • 50% of the order total, excluding postage, is held as a non-refundable deposit

Delivery & Setup

  • Parcels go with Australia Post with tracking, and postage is worked out at the checkout from the weight of the order. Express post is an upgrade at the checkout.
  • If a courier turns out to be cheaper or quicker she sends it that way and refunds the difference. Small items such as wax seals can be sent by regular untracked post. Local pick up is welcome from Glen Osmond once your order is ready, and she contacts you to arrange it.

Minimum Order

  • Minimum orders are set per product and range from 20 to 50. Invitations are usually 20 or 30 sets; order of service booklets 30; laser cut wraps 30 pieces per colour; pocketfolds 25 pieces per colour, or 50 for the all-in-one pocket envelope; belly bands 20 or 50 depending on the material. Her terms give the general rule as 30 for most invitations, or 50 for some specialised items, and say smaller quantities may be possible with a minimum order fee.

Nearby Landmarks

  • Adelaide Hills - the range begins at Glen Osmond, where the South Eastern Freeway starts its climb out of the city.
  • Adelaide city centre - a few kilometres north-west of Glen Osmond.
  • Waterfall Gully and Cleland Conservation Park - in the hills directly above the suburb.
  • Burnside and Toorak Gardens - the established inner-eastern suburbs alongside.
  • Magill - a few kilometres north, and home to Penfolds Magill Estate.

Per-Piece Pricing

  • From $6.50 per invitation card including a premium mailing envelope, and from $5.50 per save the date card

Price Notes

  • The listed prices include printing your guests' names on the invitations and a premium coloured envelope, with no extra charge for either.
  • Discounts apply on larger quantities, and you do not have to order in blocks of 50 or 100.
  • Order of service booklets carry a one-off set up fee of $95.00 if you want her to design and format them, charged on top of the per-booklet price; supplying your own finished wording avoids it. Envelope printing carries a flat set up fee whatever the number of envelopes, and white ink printing on envelopes is charged per envelope.
  • Prices are whatever is current on the day you order, which may not match a quote or a sample from months or a year earlier.

Printing Methods

  • black ink, colour ink, white ink, foil, embossed paper, laser cut, vellum and wax seal

Proofs & Revisions

  • A digital proof is provided for every design before anything goes to print, and you are asked to check it, check it again, and then have someone else check it too - no refund is given for an error that was approved at proof.
  • One exception is worth knowing. If you choose the printing-only option for order of service booklets, she prints exactly what you supply and does no proof reading or formatting of it, so the spelling, punctuation, dates and layout are yours to get right. A few pre-made designs are also made without a proof, and those pages say so.

Services Offered

  • Semi-custom invitation designs with customisable wording, fully custom designs by quote, guest name printing on invitations, envelope printing in colour or white ink, order of service design and formatting, a print-only service for wording you have already laid out, DIY components for couples assembling their own, and printed samples before you order
