Valley Floral Boutique is an independent shop on Augusta Road in Lenah Valley, a few kilometres out of central Hobart. The name is older than the current owners: the shop had traded in Lenah Valley for more than twenty years before they bought it and reopened in August 2023. They arrived with their own history - the Flower Depot in the Elizabeth Street Mall from 2016, then Little Flower Van, then “Dotty”, a vintage Kombi that became something of a Hobart fixture.
Style & Signature Blooms
The florist describes her own range plainly: modern and designed at one end, and at the other the small one-off pieces built in old china with natural wrapping. Flowers are chosen daily from Tasmanian gardens, growers and suppliers rather than ordered in blind. Its own wedding photographs run from white rose and gypsophila bouquets to protea arbour work against the water, and buttonholes laid out on the workbench before the ceremony.
