Riversdale Estate
About
Overview & Vibe
Riversdale Estate is Tasmania's largest family-owned winery — a French-flavoured estate rolling down to the banks of Pittwater in the Coal River Valley, eighteen minutes from Hobart, where chandeliers, barrel caves and vineyard slopes host exclusively limited weddings.
Setting & Style
Receptions choose their character: the chandelier-lit Orangery for 55, the French-interior Restaurant for 130 round-table guests, the winery 'Celestia' with its floor-to-ceiling glass, copper and underground barrel caves for 45, the marble-and-fireplace Cellar Door, or a marquee on the Sandstone's 400m² of grass for 170 with panoramic views over the estate and Pittwater. Photographers roam the vineyard, paddocks, golden cliffs and water's edge, wedding manager Laura runs the day, and seven French Provincial cottages keep the wedding party on the estate.
Ideal For
Couples wanting French grandeur on Tasmanian vineyard water — from intimate cellar-door dinners to a 170-guest marquee over Pittwater.
