Wedding Photographers · Mildura, Victoria
Mikelle has been photographing weddings around Mildura and the Sunraysia district since 2013, working from a small studio at Gol Gol, just across the Murray River in New South Wales. Her weddings are country weddings: teary vows, bear hugs from Nan, muddy boots and dance floor chaos, photographed as they happen rather than arranged for the camera.
She describes herself as a modern and timeless storyteller, and works in natural light with no stiff poses and no forced smiles. The coverage is unscripted: honest moments and real connection, caught as the day unfolds. Couples are guided rather than posed, so the camera stays out of the way of the day itself.
Couples marrying around Mildura, the Murray and the wider Sunraysia district who want a warm, unhurried record of the day instead of a formal portrait session. Because every collection is built one at a time, it suits couples who would rather talk through their own running order than choose from a fixed list.
The base eight-hour wedding collection starts at $4,500 including GST, and everything beyond that is customised. There are no pre-set options: you send the wedding enquiry, then meet Mikelle on a phone or Zoom consultation to talk through the day and work out how many hours of coverage suit it, and the date is held with a signed booking contract and a retainer. Rates for elopements and micro weddings are given on enquiry. The Gol Gol studio is open by appointment only.
Nothing is quoted until the two of you have sketched a rough timeline for the day together, so the hours of coverage come out of your actual running order rather than a set collection that has to be trimmed to fit. Mikelle also shoots as an associate photographer for Ashleigh Haase Photography.
