Clancy Jayne is an adventure wedding and elopement photographer based in Denmark, on Western Australia’s south coast, working across the Great Southern and the South West and travelling to some of the remotest country in Australia. She grew up on cattle stations in the remote north and spent two years travelling the continent with her family, and it shows: her galleries run from granite coastline and karri forest to red gorges, salt lakes and helicopter landings on escarpment rims.
Style & Approach
She photographs documentary style, capturing the candid and adventurous moments as they happen rather than assembling them. Her own description of what she is looking for is the moment she calls the exhale, usually outside, usually at golden hour, usually when it is just the couple and the landscape and nothing left on the schedule. Expect long light, big country and very little posing.
