Wedding Photographers · Albany / Great Southern, Western Australia
Lauren Sprigg is an Albany wedding photographer working across the Great Southern, and she describes her couples as the down to earth, the free spirits and the troublemakers. She has photographed weddings for more than ten years, from Shelley Beach and Lights Beach to farm paddocks at Kendenup and Narrikup, and she works the day as an enthusiastic observer rather than a director.
Her couples book her for a natural, candid style. She describes a real balance between giving direction and letting things simply be free, and says it is her job to get that balance right for each couple. She carries up to four cameras, multiple lenses, a drone and audio gear for recording the vows.
Couples who want the day to feel like their own rather than a production, and who would like both photographs and a film from one person. Small weddings, pre-wedding sessions and couple sessions are covered by her shortest collection.
Three collections run from three hours to ten hours, and each one covers both photographs and video. A 500 dollar deposit confirms a booking and is not refundable, with the balance due two weeks before the wedding. A sneak peek of ten to twenty images arrives within 48 hours, and the full gallery always within four weeks. A second photographer is not usual, though she can arrange one where a wedding needs two sets of eyes.
A professional audio recording of the spoken vows, kept alongside the images and the film, and offered as part of what she delivers rather than as an extra.
