About

Overview & Vibe

Jenna landed in Broome from Scotland in 2012, the day before Valentine’s Day, and started work at Broome Florist on one of the busiest days of a florist’s year. She bought that shop in 2014 and ran it for ten years, then handed the retail side on to concentrate on what she actually wanted to do - weddings and events. After a year away travelling she is back, working from a new studio she calls the Flower Room.

Style & Signature Blooms

Her own line is that there is nothing basic here - only iconic. The portfolio backs it: ceremonies staged against the red pindan cliffs at Gantheaume Point, aisles of white blooms running down to Cable Beach at sunset, bougainvillea, palm fronds and frangipani-toned bouquets. It is unmistakably Kimberley work, and it does not look like anywhere else in Australia.

Ideal For

Anyone marrying in Broome or on Cable Beach, at any scale. She puts it plainly - whether an elopement or a three-day event, she has done it, over a thousand times in this town. Nearly two decades in, the client list has run to celebrities, television, football teams and prime ministers.

The Need-to-Knows

⚠ She will be the only florist working your day. Her booking form asks you to agree that she is the sole provider of all florals, and that covers other florists, DIY arrangements, gifted flowers, and any artificial, dried or pre-made pieces from a retailer or the venue. Read that clause before you buy anything floral elsewhere. Enquiries can take up to a week to answer in busy periods. The everyday delivery side of the business is paused at the moment; weddings are open.

Standout Feature

The booking form is the most thorough in this directory. It runs through eighteen categories of floral item, asks for five words describing the aesthetic of your day, asks which flowers you love and which you don’t, takes twenty inspiration images, and asks how you prefer to be contacted. She calls it an interrogation. It means the first quote comes back already shaped around your wedding.

Appointment Policy

  • Start with the online booking form; general enquiries go to hello@broomeflowerroom.com.au.
  • Have your ceremony and reception venues and times ready, plus your colour palette and an estimated flower budget - the form asks for all of them.
  • It also asks for five words describing the aesthetic of your day, which flowers you love and which you don't, and who your other vendors are.
  • You can upload up to twenty inspiration images, and go deeper by email or a shared inspiration board afterwards.
  • Say how you prefer to be contacted - phone, email or text - and she will use it.
  • ⚠ You are asked to agree that she will be the sole provider of all florals on the day before the booking goes ahead.
  • Allow up to a week for a reply in busy periods, and follow up by email if you have not heard back.

Areas Serviced

  • Broome – the studio is based here and this is where nearly all of its wedding work has been done.
  • Cable Beach – named alongside Broome across the site as the studio's home ground.

Delivery & Setup

  • Both the ceremony and the reception are covered - the booking form asks for each venue and each start time.
  • Site visits are part of how she plans a wedding, alongside the first conversations and the detailed planning.
  • She works on site through the early mornings before the day starts, alongside your other vendors.
  • ⚠ Everyday flower deliveries are paused at present. Weddings are unaffected.

Nearby Landmarks

  • Cable Beach – twenty-two kilometres of white sand west of town, and the backdrop to much of this studio's work.
  • Gantheaume Point – the red pindan cliffs at the southern end of Cable Beach.
  • Broome township and Chinatown – the old pearling quarter at the centre of town.
  • Roebuck Bay – the turquoise bay on Broome's eastern side.

Price Notes

  • Every wedding is quoted individually; nothing is sold at a published price.
  • Her own starting point is about 15% of your entire wedding budget, adjusted for how much the flowers matter to the look of your day.
  • The booking form asks for your estimated flower budget up front, so she can shape the suggestions around it.
  • ⚠ Budget for all of your florals with this studio: her exclusivity clause means DIY arrangements, gifted flowers and artificial or pre-made pieces from a retailer or the venue cannot be used alongside her work.
