About

Overview & Vibe

Nardine left an advertising, marketing and communications career in the city and moved with her husband Mark to the Ferguson Valley in 2008, wanting cleaner air and open space. A novel about the language of flowers sent her back to study, and she trained in floral design under the German master florist Iris Pich. Scentiment Flowers grew out of that. She has since downsized to a new home and flower studio further down the valley.

Style & Signature Blooms

Her own words for the work are classic and lush — a refined floral foundation at the smaller end, opening out into statement installations, ceremony towers, floral pillars and hanging features at the larger. The portfolio runs from soft neutral palettes to bold colour. No list of flower varieties is published anywhere on the site.

Ideal For

Couples marrying in the South West who want a fully costed plan before they commit. The five published budget tiers are unusually specific: each names an example set of inclusions, right down to the number of bouquets and boutonnieres, so a couple can see what their figure actually buys before the first conversation.

The Need-to-Knows

Wedding budget tiers run from $5,000 to above $15,000, with a lower off-season tier of $3,500 to $5,000 for June, July and August only. Booking is confirmed by email, and a design and booking fee of one third of the total is invoiced at that point. A formal quote follows about halfway through, and the final invoice falls four weeks before the wedding — the point at which all changes close and the order goes to the wholesalers. Enquiries are answered within 48 hours.

Standout Feature

The hire range, and the flower school. Plinths, urns, ceremony pillars, timber and copper arbours, towers, bud vases, compotes, mint julep cups, brass candlesticks and chrome lanterns are all available, with a hire catalogue sent on request. Separately she teaches seasonal and special-occasion classes from the Ferguson Valley, with all materials provided and a maximum class size of twenty.

Appointment Policy

  • Stage one is an enquiry form, answered within 48 hours; a phone chat or a more detailed questionnaire follows, whichever the couple prefers.
  • Stage two is a customised proposal and mood board emailed to the couple, including an all-inclusive cost estimate tailored to their requirements.
  • Stage three is confirmation by email, at which point terms and conditions are sent for signature and the date is held exclusively.
  • Stage four is a formal quote provided about halfway between booking and the final invoice, which is the moment to make changes.
  • Stage five is the final invoice, due four weeks before the wedding, after which the order is placed with the wholesalers.
  • Consultations can also be booked directly by phone or email for weddings and special events.

Price Notes

  • The design and booking fee is one third of the total cost, invoiced when the booking is confirmed.
  • The final invoice falls four weeks before the wedding, and all final changes must be advised before that date because the order is then placed with the wholesalers.
  • Changes can be made at the proposal stage, at the formal quote stage, or at the final invoice.
  • The lowest in-season entry point is $5,000; the $3,500 tier applies only to weddings held in June, July or August.
  • Every quote is described as an all-inclusive cost estimate tailored to the individual wedding rather than a fixed package price.
  • Prices for hire items are not published and the hire catalogue is sent on request.
  • The site is mid-rebuild: several pages still carry unedited template text, so the pricing above was taken only from pages that are fully written.
