Fuey Photography is a destination wedding and elopement studio based in Exmouth, on Western Australia’s Ningaloo Coast. Cat photographs the day as it actually unfolds — in her own words, with “no awkward poses or forced smiles” — and she travels worldwide from that Exmouth base, so a couple can marry on a white sand Ningaloo beach, in a national park gorge, or almost anywhere else, and still work with the same photographer.
The work is natural, timeless and relaxed, or as she puts it, “unfiltered, unhurried and deeply real”. She works for honest moments rather than arranged ones — the nervous giggles, the belly laughs and the quiet moments in between — with romantic and elegant frames drawn from the couple’s own surroundings.

It also suits couples wanting a proposal, an engagement session or a smaller family gathering photographed in the same unposed style.
Three package tiers are published: Couples, covering proposals, engagements and anniversaries; Elopements and Weddings, covering destination elopements and weddings from $3,000; and Gatherings and Lifestyle, for family and friends sessions. Images arrive as high-resolution files in an online gallery, and prints can be ordered through that gallery. She has photographed couples and families for over a decade, and the Ningaloo Coast is home ground rather than somewhere she flies to. The reef and its whale sharks, mantas and humpbacks, the national park gorges, the salt flats and the white sand beaches are all within reach of the same base.
