About

Overview & Vibe

Felicitations has been making wedding stationery in Perth since 1999, and works from a studio in Osborne Park you can visit to handle the paper before committing to anything. Design and printing both happen in house. The house style is formal and restrained — heavy European stocks, careful typography, and finishes meant to be felt as much as read.

Style & Printing

The designs run classic and timeless, with a romantic group, an editorial strand and some genuinely tactile pieces; monograms recur throughout. Printing is fine digital, letterpress, hot foil and embossing, with white ink, laser cutting and engraving, and acrylic invitations for something more modern. You choose the stock, the size — A6, a 120 by 180mm standard, or A5 — and whether the card is flat or folded, then add finishes like double-sided printing, flat foil, or duplexing to a double-thick 600gsm card.

Ideal For

Couples who want to be guided rather than handed a catalogue, and who care about paper enough to want to touch it first. There are three ways in, depending on how much of the design should be yours from scratch, and a free thirty-minute discovery call — in the studio or online — to work out which. It suits couples outside Perth equally: the whole process runs by email, and the studio ships Australia-wide and overseas.

The Need-to-Knows

Pricing works in two parts, and it is worth understanding before you enquire: a design fee opens the project, then printing is quoted separately once you have chosen size, format and finishes. For a suite of about 60, the studio puts a full Studio Collection investment at roughly $850 to $1,800, Tailored Touch higher again, and bespoke higher still. Book four to eight months ahead, and longer for save the dates. Shipping is a $40 flat rate within Australia, free over $600.

Standout Feature

The three tiers differ in service, not only in price. The Studio Collection personalises one of twenty named suites and returns a proof in three business days with two rounds of changes. Tailored Touch gives you three concepts drawn from twenty-five years of archive, a senior designer and four rounds. The Bespoke Suite starts on a blank page with three original concepts, custom illustration, eight rounds and hand assembly. On the upper two tiers, the studio will refund your full design fee if the design is not right after the first two proof rounds.

Appointment Policy

  • The Osborne Park studio is open to browse the collections without an appointment, though the published hours vary across the site - Monday to Thursday 10am to 6pm in one place, Monday to Friday elsewhere - so confirm before you travel.
  • For a proper design session, book a complimentary thirty-minute discovery call, online or in the studio. Appointments can be scheduled during studio hours and also on Fridays and Saturdays, or after hours by request. After a consultation the studio can send a curated sample pack so you can feel the papers and finishes discussed. Working with a planner is routine - the studio says it integrates into their workflow.

Areas Serviced

  • A Perth studio shipping Australia-wide, and internationally on request. The studio says it specialises in working with clients nationwide and that the whole experience is designed to run the same wherever you are.

Delivery & Setup

  • Shipping within Australia is a $40 flat rate, and free on orders over $600. Oversized pieces - acrylic wishing wells and the largest signage - sit outside the flat rate and are quoted on your location, and the biggest signs are Perth pick-up only. ⚠ The studio also advertises complimentary Australia-wide shipping, so check which applies to your order.
  • Pick-up is free from the Osborne Park studio and the studio contacts you to arrange a time. Orders go by Australia Post or Sendle with tracking; allow two to four business days in metropolitan WA, three to seven to other capitals and five to ten to remote areas. International shipping is available worldwide, with duties and taxes payable by you.

Design Fee

  • From $200

Minimum Order

  • There is no minimum on most items - the studio says it caters for everything from an intimate elopement to a grand celebration.
  • The exception is the artisan finishes: letterpress, foil and acrylic printing carry a minimum of 30 pieces, because of the setup each one needs. On a smaller run of anything, the per-item price can rise to cover production setup.

Nearby Landmarks

  • Osborne Park - the studio's own suburb, in Perth's inner north.
  • Perth city centre - about ten minutes south-east of the studio.
  • Swan Valley - the wine region on the city's north-eastern edge, and a wedding destination in its own right.
  • Fremantle and Cottesloe - the port and the coast, south-west of the city.
  • Rottnest Island - reached by ferry from Fremantle or the city.

Price Notes

  • Pricing comes in two parts and the studio is explicit about it: one part design, one part print. The design fee secures your slot and is applied against your final commission; printing is invoiced separately once size, format and finishes are settled.
  • Guest name printing is included on invitations across all three design experiences, but not everywhere: on acrylic it is a $195 one-off setup. A complimentary digital save the date and invitation come with the bespoke tier, and a digital invitation can be added at no charge on the others.
  • ⚠ The design fees are quoted two different ways across the studio's own pages - $200, $300 and $600 for the three tiers in one place, and $300, $500 and $750 in another - so treat any of them as indicative and confirm your figure when you enquire. Written quotes are valid for 30 days.
  • Deposits and part payments are generally non-refundable, and quantities lock once the final invoice is approved. ⭐ There is one important exception: under the studio's Designed-to-Delight guarantee, on the Tailored Touch and Bespoke tiers, if the design is not right after your first two proof rounds you can step away before printing and have your full design fee refunded.

Printing Methods

  • digital, letterpress, foil, embossing, white ink and laser cut

Proofs & Revisions

  • Your first digital proof comes back in three business days on the Studio Collection, five on Tailored Touch and seven on a bespoke suite. Nothing goes to print until you have approved it.
  • Revision rounds are set by tier: two on the Studio Collection, four on Tailored Touch, eight on bespoke. ⚠ The studio also describes collaborating through as many revision rounds as it takes, which reads more generously than those per-tier counts, so it is worth confirming which applies to the tier you choose.

Services Offered

  • In-house design and in-house printing, three design tiers from personalising a named suite to an original commission, custom monograms and hand-drawn elements, laser cutting and engraving, white ink printing, specialty printing on acrylic and fabric, a free thirty-minute discovery call online or in the studio, a curated sample pack after a consultation, guest name printing on invitations, collaboration with wedding planners and stylists, studio pick-up or Australia-wide delivery, and birthday and corporate event stationery alongside the wedding work

Starting Price

  • From $850

Stationery Packages

  • Three tiers, which are different services rather than three price points, each opening with a design fee that is separate from printing. The Studio Collection personalises one of twenty named suites, with a design fee from $200, a three-business-day first proof and two rounds of changes.
  • Tailored Touch, the studio's most chosen tier, has a design fee from $300 and gives you three concept directions drawn from its archive, a custom monogram and colour palette, a senior designer, a five-business-day proof and four rounds of changes.
  • The Bespoke Suite has a design fee from $600 and starts from nothing: three original concepts, custom illustrations, a complimentary digital save the date and invitation, a seven-day proof, eight rounds of revisions and hand assembly of the finished suite.
  • There is also an engagement package at $380, covering digital invitations and a statement welcome sign.

Stationery Range

  • Save the dates, engagement announcements, bridesmaid proposal cards, wedding invitations and suites, order of service and church booklets, welcome signs, seating charts, menus, bar menus, place cards, table numbers, guest books, small signage, custom stickers and vow books

Stationery Styles

  • classic, timeless, romantic, editorial and luxe

Turnaround Time

  • Book roughly four to eight months before the wedding - the studio gives four to six months in one place and six to eight in another - and at least six months for a bespoke suite. For save the dates it suggests anywhere from nine to fifteen months out, so start early and confirm your own dates with the studio.
  • The design and proofing stage alone usually runs two to four weeks. Printing is separate and quoted after you sign off: allow around ten to fifteen working days, or about seven to ten business days for digital and up to four weeks for foil or letterpress.
