La Bridal Maison is an online bridal house shipping across Australia. There is no boutique and no appointment — you choose a gown from the collection, it is made to order for you, and it arrives at your door. Its own words for what it does: “we believe in the magic of love and romance, and we are committed to ensuring that you feel elegant, beautiful and confident”.
Its own label, and it is a big one: 55 wedding gowns from $1,000 to $5,900. A-line, fit-and-flare, mermaid, ball gown and short — in corded and appliquéd lace, glimmering tulle, crepe and satin, with convertible styles, detachable overskirts and sleeves. There is a separate Run For Love collection, and veils, gloves, pearl headbands and earrings from $85.
A bride who wants a made-to-order gown without a boutique, and who is planning far enough ahead to wait for it. It also suits anyone outside a capital city: the range is the same wherever you live, shipping within Australia is free, and a gown can be made in your own measurements rather than a standard size.
Allow two to six months. Every gown is made to order, and the studio asks for your wedding date when you order. A rush order is possible if approved, with rush fees paid up front. Made-to-order gowns cannot be refunded, exchanged or cancelled — production may begin immediately — so choose carefully; if something is wrong, email within 48 hours of delivery. Orders are processed in 2–4 business days, then 3–5 days standard or 1–3 expedited. Australia only.
Fifty-five made-to-order gowns, every one priced. Most made-to-order bridal quotes only after a consultation; here the whole range carries a number from $1,000 up, so a bride can work out what she can afford before she speaks to anybody. Payment plans are available on stocked items through Splitit.
