Leura House was the first house built in Leura, standing since about 1880 — a heritage manor of verandahs and gables set in gardens a short walk from the village, blending Victorian bones with modern comfort.
Garden ceremonies gather under the old trees on the lawn for up to a hundred guests, then move indoors to the dining hall for fifty to sixty — or stay outside end to end when the mountain weather cooperates, with elegant indoor spaces standing by as the backup. The model is refreshingly flexible: bring your own caterers into the fully functional kitchen and choose your own decorators and suppliers, or take the all-inclusive option; beverages run house packages or BYO with corkage. Twelve appointed rooms sleep the wedding party overnight, there’s a bridal preparation space, on-site parking and a basic PA for speeches — and dogs are welcome outdoors by arrangement.
Couples wanting a heritage-house wedding with DIY freedom — your own suppliers, your own pace, beds upstairs.
The lawn ceremony with the 1880 house behind it — heritage timber, garden light and the village five minutes away.
