Overview & Vibe

CNJ Photography is Chris and Jacqui, a two-photographer team who worked and travelled the world as photographers before making a home in the Hunter Valley and starting their wedding business there. Between them they have more than thirty years behind the camera and have photographed over two hundred weddings, a good many of them shot for other studios across Sydney and the Hunter before they went out on their own.

Style & Approach

Photojournalistic, with direction only where it helps. They describe the aim as a relaxed and genuine feel that lets the day flow, telling the story from the smallest details through to the big moments, and looking for angles that make the pictures yours rather than generic.

Couples marrying at a Hunter Valley vineyard, chapel or estate, or in Newcastle, who want two photographers rather than one and a large, generous set of images. They also cover elopements and engagement sessions, and offer videography.

The Need-to-Knows

A signed contract and a retainer hold your date, with the balance due the week before. The standard package for up to nine hours; four and six hour packages exist at prices they give on request, so ask if you want a shorter day. Raw files are not handed over, you receive the finished, edited images.
