A one-photographer studio based on the Gold Coast, shooting weddings and elopements from Byron Bay up to the Sunshine Coast and travelling further for destination couples. The tone is warm, chatty and unhurried, and the studio is openly LGBTQ+ friendly — the published work includes several same-sex weddings, which is still not a given on the coast. Style & Approach

Documentary at heart: candid moments caught as they happen, with a little gentle direction when a couple wants it. The photographer describes shooting either from the shadows or right at the front, whichever suits the day, and uses prompts rather than poses to help couples relax. Editing is light — colour and contrast are worked on carefully, minor blemishes are tidied, and body-shaping retouching is declined on principle.

Ideal For

Couples who want one photographer for the whole day and like an informal, unposed result. The elopement and micro-wedding line is a genuine second product rather than a discount — up to twenty-five guests, from two and a half hours — so a small ceremony can be priced properly. Same-sex couples and couples marrying away from home are both explicitly welcomed.

Standout Feature

A stated refusal to do body-shaping retouching. Most photographers simply never raise the subject; saying plainly that the editing will not reshape anyone tells a couple exactly what they will get back, and it is the kind of thing that is far easier to agree on before the day than after it.

Albums & Prints

  • Wedding Album — $1,500. A flush-mount fine art book in a ten-inch square or a nine by twelve inch portrait size, on 1mm-thick fine art matte paper.
  • Parent Album — $750. A smaller replica of the wedding album, six inches square or five and a quarter by seven inches, in the same cover material.
  • Cover choices run to linen, buckram, leather, leatherette, macrosuede, velvet and premium leather, in a long list of colours.
  • Albums can be personalised with an imprint, and the design is approved before print.
