Wanted Wedding is a small by-appointment showroom in a quiet corner of West End, and its whole proposition comes from where its owner sat before she opened it. Yang spent eight years inside a wedding dress factory as a designer and sales manager, moved to Australia in 2016, and spent the next several years wholesaling gowns from those factories to Australian bridal shops. She opened Wanted Wedding to sell direct at factory-adjacent prices - her words are that she wondered why brides could not get their dream dress for less money.

Gowns are hand-picked from independent designers and bridal factories rather than carried as named labels, and are listed by factory style code - ZY1025, WT4637, LY3270, 3701 and 5028 series. The collection is browsable by silhouette: A-line, ball gown, sheath, trumpet/mermaid, and by detail - illusion, off-the-shoulder, long sleeves, sweetheart and V-neck necklines, with cap, regular and spaghetti straps. Formalwear, a sample sale rail and accessories sit alongside the bridal range.
