Focus First Studios is Matt and Jess, a two-person photo and film team based in Brisbane and working across Queensland and northern New South Wales. Voted the state’s number one wedding videographers in 2024 and 2025, they shoot everything from vineyard estates on the Gold Coast to a Queenstown elopement, and their published work runs to more than fifty full weddings.

Style & Approach

Candid and natural, and cheerfully blunt about it: no cheesy vibes, no awkward poses, and a stated habit of slipping in and out of the day to catch the moments nobody noticed — the sneaky kiss at the dinner table, a stray hair tucked back. They arrive early to mingle so the room relaxes before anything is asked of it, and they shoot a great deal: eight thousand frames on the day, cut to the eight hundred or so that meet their standard.
