Fifth Avenue Florist has been trading from Palm Beach, at the southern end of the Gold Coast, since 1992. It describes itself as a busy little studio full of flowers, fragrance, conversation and laughs, and the wedding side is run by a named team - Jacque, Fiona and colleagues - who ask you to call or come in rather than fill in a form. Its wedding gallery is one of the largest published by any Gold Coast florist.

Style & Signature Blooms

The gallery ranges widely rather than settling on a signature: all-white classic rose bouquets, soft blush and toffee palettes, deep burgundy and red, bright coral and orange, and dried work with king protea and pampas. One published wedding was built from soft pink and white roses with delicate orchids and dainty white leaves. Roses, orchids, dahlias, proteas and ranunculus all recur through the work.

Couples on the southern Gold Coast and just over the border into Northern New South Wales, and particularly anyone eloping - the studio addresses elopements directly and flowered a private one at Cabarita. It suits couples who would rather have a conversation than receive a package list, and who want to see a large body of real work before committing.

Standout Feature

One of its weddings was published beyond its own site: Milly and Scott’s private elopement at Cabarita in August 2020, and the bouquet made for it, appeared in issue 23 of the Together Journal. The studio names the couple, the photographer and the publication, which is a far stronger reference than a testimonial.
