Creative Wedding Co is a wedding photography studio based on the Gold Coast, working across the Tweed Coast and travelling for couples throughout Australia. It is run by Maria, who photographs every wedding herself, with Gerry — who started the studio alongside her — returning as second photographer on the larger collections and as cover if illness ever strikes. The result is a small, personal operation rather than a rotating roster of shooters.

Style & Approach

The work is timeless and documentary, built on real moments rather than long posing sessions. Maria offers gentle direction to settle couples in front of the camera, then steps back and lets the day happen. Night and flash photography feature on the longer collections, and 35mm film is shot alongside digital on the top collection.

Couples who want the whole day covered without watching the clock, from getting ready through to a sparkler exit. The eight-hour collection suits a straightforward timeline; the ten-hour collections suit longer days, and the top collection adds a second photographer so the morning can be covered in two places at once.

The Need-to-Knows

Photography collections start at $3,500 and run to eight or ten hours of coverage. Travel anywhere in Australia is already included. A $1,000 booking fee secures the date within seven days of signing, the balance falls due a fortnight before the wedding, and payment plans are offered. Photographs arrive in about four to six weeks, at roughly one hundred images for every hour booked.

Standout Feature

Videography is offered only as an add-on to a photography collection, never as a standalone booking — so the two cameras never compete for the same moment. Bespoke albums are made on the Gold Coast from $800, with lay-flat pages and a choice of linen or leather cover.
