The Island is Surfers Paradise’s boutique hotel party palace — a Glasshouse marquee under fig trees, a chandeliered rooftop Penthouse with ocean and hinterland views, and Duke’s Parlour’s mid-century cocktail glamour, all steps from the beach on the Boulevard.
The 600-square-metre Glasshouse hosts up to 350 seated or 780 cocktail behind glass-panel walls and an alfresco deck; the Penthouse pairs its Ocean View and Mountain View rooms with an open-air terrace bar for 144 seated or 350 cocktail; and Duke’s Parlour swings for 350 cocktail-style. On-site ceremonies, a dedicated banqueting kitchen, full AV and a wedding planner come with the territory — plus boutique rooms and suites downstairs for the after-party crowd.
Couples wanting big Surfers Paradise energy — rooftop skyline ceremonies, hotel convenience and published package pricing.
The Penthouse terrace at dusk — Surfers’ skyline, ocean and hinterland in one 360-degree wedding backdrop.
