Cypresses Photography is Holly, a Brisbane and Gold Coast wedding photographer who shoots across both cities and travels Australia-wide. She came to the work from wanting to show people how beautiful small moments, and the practice reflects that: weddings and micro weddings sit alongside engagements, couples and elopements, all of it described in her own phrase as anything about love.
She describes the look as romantic, timeless and vibrant, and the published work bears it out, warm colour, a lot of veil and movement, and a mix of golden-hour portraits with close, quiet frames. She offers to meet couples over coffee or a video call before booking and works through a prompt sheet so nobody has to guess what happens on the day.
Couples in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast, and particularly those weighing a smaller celebration; her micro wedding tier is a genuine three-step ladder rather than a single cut-down option, starting well below the full-day rate.
Full wedding coverage begins for five hours with 200 or more edited images, rising for seven hours and for a full day. Micro weddings run. Every wedding package includes a free engagement shoot, a USB and a private gallery that guests can reach, and fifteen preview images arrive within 24 hours. Finished galleries take about four weeks.
The preview turnaround is unusually quick, fifteen edited images within a day of the wedding, and the free pre-wedding engagement session is built into the wedding price rather than sold alongside it.
