Wedding Florists · South Burnett / Kingaroy, Queensland · Visit in person
Linard Floral and Bridal Centre is a shop on Haly Street in Kingaroy, serving the South Burnett. “Community is at the heart of what we do.” Their work was published in The Bride’s Diary for Queensland’s wedding of the year in its 2018 issue.
Whatever the couple brings — “Whether you’re after a bespoke arrangement or a classic, the team at Linard Floral are always ready to assist you to create your dream florals.” Their own wedding photographs run from a rust and burnt-orange bouquet against a veil in a paddock, to a king protea and fern bouquet in rainforest, to a white bridal table arrangement of spider chrysanthemum and rose. They also carry a substantial dried and preserved range.
A South Burnett couple at any budget — “We cater to a wide range of budgets, so imagination is your only limit.” And, unusually, for the couple who wants to make the flowers themselves: their DIY dried-flower kits come with everything including the florist scissors and instructional videos, are posted Australia-wide, and are pitched at both a bridal-party assembly session and reception centrepieces that guests take home afterwards.
Same-day delivery has a different cut-off in each town — 3pm in the Kingaroy CBD, but 9.30am for Nanango, Yarraman, Wondai, Tingoora and Murgon, because the courier runs around midday. No deliveries on Sundays or public holidays: “we enjoy family time on those days.” They deliver to the hospitals in all four major towns.
A published guide to what wedding flowers cost — across the market, not just theirs. Bridal bouquets $180–$500, bridesmaids’ $120–$200, boutonnieres and corsages $25–$60, table centrepieces $150–$400, ceremony and venue decoration $500–$2,500, with Australian couples averaging $1,500 to $8,000 overall. ⚠ These are market ranges, not their price list. Their budgeting advice is to allow 5–10% of the total wedding budget and to ask any florist for an itemised quote.
