South Burnett / Kingaroy, Queensland

The South Burnett is Queensland’s peanut country and one of its oldest wine regions — rolling red-soil farmland, cellar doors around Moffatdale and Kingaroy as the town at its centre. Couples marry at vineyard estates, on rural properties with the Bunya Mountains as a backdrop, and in the district’s country halls.

Bunya Mountains National Park sits above it all, with its rainforest and grassy balds, and Brisbane is under three hours away. It is farm-country wedding territory at farm-country prices.
