Wedding Photographers · Sunshine Coast / Noosa, Queensland · By appointment
Janneke Storm is a Sunshine Coast wedding photographer who has been photographing couples for over a decade, and who travels for weddings across Australia, New Zealand and further afield. Her work has been published in Hello May, Together Journal and Harper’s Bazaar, and the weddings on her site run from Tasmanian farm sheds to the Hunter Valley, Byron Bay and the Queensland hinterland.
Editorial, and she names it as such: her own description is work that is editorial in style and intimately balanced, capturing the raw and refined moments layered with emotional eloquence. Deeply influenced by her South African roots, she describes fusing the organic with an appreciation for the wild, and responding intuitively to what happens between people rather than directing it.
Couples who want a photographer with a distinct visual signature rather than a house style, and who are relaxed about a photographer travelling to them. She also shoots elopements, and her non-wedding work in commercial, interiors and editorial photography is part of where that eye comes from.
She does not publish prices. Enquiries go through a form on her site which asks for your date, your location or venue, and your photography budget, so expect a conversation rather than a price list. She sells prints through an online store and takes album orders through a separate form, though neither publishes a price either.
The published record is unusually deep. Individual weddings are written up as full stories on her site, each one crediting the venue and the whole supplier team, so you can see how a complete day came together rather than only the highlights.
