Palm Bay is a small resort tucked into the aquamarine waters of Long Island in the Great Barrier Reef, and describes itself as the only dedicated exclusive sole-use resort in the Whitsundays.
Weddings here take the whole property — up to sixty guests, with twenty-five private sea-view accommodations to put them in. Vows happen on the resort’s own private beach, or by candlelight in the pavilion against a Coral Sea backdrop, and the arrival can be made by seaplane straight onto the water. A ukulele serenade and a moonlit feast under the stars are part of the pitch, and because the resort is booked sole-use there is nobody else on the property for the duration.
Couples wanting a private island resort entirely to themselves, arriving by seaplane.
A seaplane landing on the bay in front of your own private beach.
