Drew and Maddy are a husband-and-wife team who have been photographing weddings together since opening their studio in 2011. They shoot across the Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale and describe themselves as a low-stress duo, big on not taking themselves too seriously, keen on an adventure, and unembarrassed about treating their dogs like royalty. The stated aim is a day that feels like yours rather than a production.
They put it plainly: their style is romantic, documentary, natural and intimate. They are there to tell the story as it unfolds rather than manufacture it, watching for the in-between moments and letting a bit of cinematic mood in when the light allows. Portraits are guided with simple prompts and calm direction, and they say most couples come out of that part saying it was easier than expected.
Couples marrying in the Adelaide Hills or McLaren Vale who want two photographers who already know the wineries and homesteads; their published weddings run from Hahndorf and Oakbank to Paxton, Coriole and Yundi Farm. Also a good fit for anyone who feels awkward in front of a camera, and for couples who want a next-day preview to share while the day is still fresh.
Three collections of six, eight and ten hours, with a second photographer available on the ten-hour collection. Every collection includes a next-day preview of twenty images, 600 to 1,000-plus edited photographs in high resolution with no watermarking, and two years of cloud backup. A signed agreement and a deposit secure the date, with a second three months later and the balance two weeks before. They do not hold dates.
The delivery promise is unusually specific in both directions: twenty images the day after the wedding, and the complete gallery no later than five weeks. They are equally direct about why it is not faster; they would rather deliver something consistent than rush it.
