Wedding Venues · Ballarat, Victoria · Visit in person
A country estate at the foot of Mt Buninyong in Scotsburn, about twenty minutes south-east of Ballarat. Rolling lawns run down to a lake with a timber jetty, a brick homestead sits behind hedges, and the working heart of the place is a restored woolshed with exposed beams, festoon lighting and wine barrels.
Three ceremony settings are named: by the lake, under a rustic arbour (four to choose from), or in the historic white church nearby — the Scotsburn Community Chapel. The reception goes in the woolshed or outdoors under festoon lighting, with the stables and gardens available for photographs.
Couples who want exclusive use of a whole rural property with a lake and a barn, and who want to choose between full catering or bringing their own depending on the package.
Vows on the lake edge with Mt Buninyong behind, then dinner in a woolshed strung with festoon lights.
