Wedding Florists · Geelong / Bellarine Peninsula, Victoria
Shelley Keast’s shop on The Terrace at Ocean Grove, opened in 2007 after she started in floristry at seventeen managing a Melbourne shop. Thirty-three years of wedding work sits behind it, and the tone is practical rather than precious: they know the do’s and the don’ts and will say so.
Seasonal and locally sourced, with the shop stating its blooms are grown in Geelong. The wedding work is built around a chosen colour palette and a theme, described by the shop in four words - classic, beach, bush or bright.
Couples on the Bellarine and around Queenscliff who want a single price to plan against. The Blooms Bundle covers a whole wedding in one figure, and set-up and delivery come with it across the Bellarine Peninsula and Queenscliff region.
The couple chooses the colour palette; the shop chooses the flowers. The bundle price excludes extras and delivery outside the Bellarine and Queenscliff. Twelve add-ons are listed by name, from a flower girl bouquet to foliage garlands, and everything supplied is the couple’s to keep unless stated otherwise.
A complete wedding published at one price - $4,000 including GST - covering bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, four buttonholes, a bucket of fresh rose petals, arbour flowers, welcome sign flowers, cake flowers, ten glass vases for the guest tables and the set-up itself. Seven statewide awards and one national award sit behind it, including Australia’s number one bridal floral designer in 2016.
