THE DUNES is a curved timber-clad building set above Ocean Grove's surf beach — contemporary coastal architecture with floor-to-ceiling glass and a wraparound terrace facing straight out at the waves.
Setting & Style
The ceremony site sits atop the sand dunes a hundred metres from the building, a grassy clearing among native flora with the beach panorama behind the aisle and a covered indoor alternative if the weather turns. Receptions run inside for 112 seated or 150 canapé-style, each with a dedicated dance floor, natural materials and windows flooding the room with light; the wraparound outdoor area handles pre-drinks and canapés under festoon lights, and larger weddings can spill into the Ocean Grove Surf Life Saving Club for up to 300. A dedicated wedding coordinator, restaurant-quality food and flexible styling come with it, and everything — ceremony, photographs, reception — happens in the one place.
