Bryony Jayne Bridal Couture is a private bridal studio in Berwick, in Melbourne's south-east, established in 2013. Bryony Jayne Reardon holds a Bachelor of Fashion from Box Hill Institute, worked at Helen Brownhill in Malvern and Raffaele Ciuca in Armadale, and spent more than ten years dressmaking independently before opening under her own name. She has been a Gown of the Year finalist twice running.
Dress Styles & Designers
Her own label, in seven collections — Alice, Briar Rose, Delfene, Eve, Isadora, Story and Winter — cut in silks and chiffons, from clean satin columns to appliquéd lace and beaded belts. Every gown on the rail can also be the starting point for something made from scratch: “bring photos or drawings”, and the design is worked out with you.

Standout Feature
You can watch it being made. Her own gallery shows the sketchbook, the sewing machine mid-seam, the lace being placed and the beaded belt close up — the same gown at four stages. For a bride choosing between a shop and a maker, that is the difference, shown rather than claimed.
