Jackson Grant is a Melbourne wedding photographer and filmmaker working out of Collingwood, who shot his first wedding in 2014 and has photographed them ever since. Style & Approach
He is unusually direct about method rather than mood. He does not attend the traditional getting-ready stage, preferring what he calls pre-pics, made once everyone is dressed and together. He reckons the finished set is roughly thirty percent the couple and seventy percent the people around them, and he photographs the whole room on that basis. He also asks couples to take a back seat on the day rather than perform for him.
