Mickey Loves Jacqui is a Werribee print studio that has been printing since 2011, when it began with a single antique press in a garage. It works with couples, businesses and other designers across the country, and its wedding range is built around seven named collections that each run from the invitation through to the menus and signage on the day.

Style & Printing

The collections span clean modern typography, boxed serif layouts, arched borders and flowing script, so the register shifts a good deal from one to the next. Every collection can be ordered digitally printed, in letterpress, or in foil and letterpress combined. Letterpress is the studio’s own favourite, and it notes that inks are hand mixed each time, so no two runs come out quite the same. Envelopes arrive digitally printed, and there is a range of card colours and die cut shapes to choose between.

Couples who want a coordinated set rather than invitations alone, and who would rather choose a finished design in their own colours than start from a blank page. The online collections suit a tighter budget and a shorter run up; the custom service suits couples planning a full stationery and signage scheme well in advance.

Invitations with envelopes start at $380 for 40, and full suites start at $850 for 40. Quantities run in tiers from 40 up to 180. Allow a minimum of six weeks for design and print on a suite, or four weeks for the letterpress bundle. Custom design is a separate path that needs at least twelve weeks and a budget of at least $6,000. Free regular postage is included Australia wide on orders over $200, and pickup can be arranged by appointment.

Appointment Policy

Custom design starts with a consultation by phone or video call. Consultations run for 45 minutes and are scheduled on weekdays between 9.30am and 2.00pm, with after hours or weekend times available on request. An itemised quote for design and print follows.

Booking & Deposit

Payment is made in instalments, one due before design begins and another before printing starts.

Delivery & Postage

Free regular postage through Sendle, Australia wide, on orders over $200. Express post can be invoiced separately. Pickup from the studio can be arranged with a time and date booked in advance, and international orders are quoted on request. Packaging is charged separately, from $30.00 for an invitation carton.

Price Notes

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Quantities run in tiers from 40 to 180, and the price rises with each tier. Letterpress and foil cost more than digital printing on the same design. Custom design is a separate path that needs a budget of at least $6,000 and at least twelve weeks. Bookings are not refundable, because work starts as soon as a booking is placed. If more pieces are needed once printing has begun, the studio invoices a minimum of 20 units.

Proofs & Revisions

Design begins once a booking is placed, and a digital proof is emailed for approval. Allow two business days for the studio to come back to you after you send your wording and colour choices. Printing begins only once artwork is approved.

Turnaround Time

Allow a minimum of six weeks for design and print on an invitation suite, or four weeks for the letterpress bundle. Once artwork is approved, printing averages three weeks. The studio suggests ordering wedding invitations five to six months before the day.
