TimberWink Studio has been making wedding stationery since 2014, from a studio at Wollert on Melbourne’s northern edge. It works in named collections, so an invitation, its detail card, the menus, place cards, table numbers, seating plan and welcome sign can all be ordered in one design family. There are two ways in: buy a printed piece from the shop, or commission a custom suite that is quoted, proofed and printed for you.

Style & Printing

The collections run from clean and minimal to classic and romantic, with shaped and arched cards, flowing scripts and layered pieces recurring across the range. Printing is offered as flat standard printing, letterpress or foiling, with white ink, embossing and wax seals available, and the studio quotes envelopes at 120 to 135 gsm with 325 to 340 gsm stock for the work itself. Expect letterpress and foiling to add both cost and time.

Ideal For

Couples who want one design carried consistently from the save the date through to the signage on the day, and who would rather order online than sit through an appointment. It also suits a tight budget: the same designs are sold as editable templates you print yourself, so a couple can mix a printed invitation with self-printed on-the-day pieces. Orders ship worldwide.

The Need-to-Knows

Printed invitations in the shop start at $245, and prices there do not state a quantity, so check what your order covers before you buy. Custom work is quoted on paper stock, print method, quantity and how intricate the design is, and a 50 per cent non-refundable deposit starts the design. Allow roughly four to six weeks overall: three business days for a digital proof, five to seven for a printed sample, then two weeks for standard printing or up to three for letterpress and foiling. Turnaround Time
