Courtney works from Mooroolbark at the western edge of the Yarra Ranges, and photographs weddings across the valley, Melbourne and further afield. She came to it sideways, family photo albums filled from 1976 onwards, a first camera thirteen years ago, and a first wedding in 2017 she was talked into.

Style & Approach

She describes her own work as romantic, timeless, fun and effortless, and herself as the fly on the wall who captures moments as they unfold, with a hand along the way if you want one. Her aim is the intimate parts of the day, the tears welling up in a parent’s eyes, the cheekiness of the children, rather than a set of arranged portraits.

Ideal For

Couples who want a full day covered by one photographer for continuity, and who like the idea of an engagement session first so the camera feels familiar. Midweek elopements are catered for separately.

  • Elopement — price on enquiry. Two hours of coverage with 250 or more edited images, an online gallery and a print store. Available Monday to Thursday only.
  • Engagement and Couples Session — price on enquiry. One hour at one location with 100 or more edited images.
  • Second Photographer — price on enquiry. Recommended past about one hundred guests, to cover guests while she stays with the couple.
  • Additional Hours. Added to any wedding package.
