About

Overview & Vibe

Dan works from Healesville, in the heart of the Yarra Valley, and keeps the offer deliberately simple: two wedding packages, of six and eight hours, plus a short elopement option. A couple describes him as the master of great candids who felt like an old mate invited to the wedding, which is close to how he describes the job himself.

Style & Approach

Laid-back and timeless, with editing he calls classic and true-to-life so the photographs will not look like a trend from five years ago. He covers the candid moments, couple portraits, family photos, key events and the dance floor, and is quick about the posed parts; fifteen good minutes and you are back with your guests.

Ideal For

Couples who want the whole day covered without a long portrait session, and who would rather see the price before enquiring. The two-hour elopement package suits a small ceremony, and travel within two hours of Healesville is already in the price.

The Need-to-Knows

  • Six-hour and eight-hour packages, or up to two hours for an elopement, with extra time available on any of them.
  • Expect roughly seventy-five images for every hour of coverage.
  • Your gallery arrives within four to six weeks.
  • A non-refundable deposit holds the date, and he books out twelve to eighteen months ahead.
  • Travel within two hours of Healesville is included; beyond that there is a published table.

Standout Feature

The travel pricing is unusually honest, an all-inclusive figure covering flights, taxis, car hire and a night’s accommodation, quoted as a single figure, with anything he saves passed back to you.
