One Day Collective is Danielle, Dee, Thomas, a wedding and elopement photographer based at Tarrington in western Victoria, a few minutes east of Hamilton. She works across the Grampians and down to the coast, and describes herself as a photographer who brings more to the day than a camera: part documentary shooter, part planner, part timeline guru. The tone is loud, warm and unfussy, and she is candid that she wants to be at the party as much as behind the lens.
Her own words for the work are adventurous, romantic and fun, shot in a relaxed way that documents the day as it unfolds. She writes that there are no awkward moments with her because the two of you simply spend the day together.
Couples marrying in the Grampians, around Hamilton and Dunkeld, or along the south-west coast, who want a photographer who will also help shape the running of the day. She photographs full wedding days and intimate elopements with equal billing, and states plainly that she photographs LGBTQIA+ weddings however couples identify.
Elopement coverage is offered separately and a joint elopement package run with celebrant Jo Moon and includes the ceremony, the legal paperwork and the marriage certificate as well as two hours of photography. Images arrive as high-resolution files without watermarks on a USB in a keepsake box, with web-sized copies for sharing. A few images are shared within days of the wedding.
The elopement side is a genuine two-person offering rather than an add-on. Booking it brings a celebrant into the arrangement from the start, with five weeks quoted as the minimum lead time for the legal documents to be lodged, and witnesses provided if a couple has none.
