Prue Peters has been photographing weddings for twenty years from her base in Shepparton, and her work reaches across the Goulburn Valley, Melbourne and regional Victoria. She takes on a deliberately limited number of weddings each year so every couple gets her full attention, and she describes the day she wants for you as calm, supported and completely free to soak up the joy.
In her own words, her work blends timeless elegance with documentary-style storytelling and an editorial edge. She will direct you and chase golden hour, then step back for the candid moments in between, a balance of structure and spontaneity rather than one or the other. Twenty years in, she is one step ahead: fixing a veil, handing over a champagne, holding the timeline so nobody else has to.
Couples marrying around Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley who want photographs that feel like art rather than a record, and couples further afield who want to bring a Shepparton photographer with them. It suits both ends of the scale, eloping somewhere wild, or a full-day celebration with everyone there.
Packages are quoted on enquiry. You apply through the form on her site, she sends her price guide, and then you talk through the day and the options before anything is locked in. She takes a limited number of weddings a year, so availability is worth checking early. She travels for weddings across Victoria and interstate, and also runs a separate commercial photography line for brands, interiors and stays.

Her published weddings run from the Woolshed at Emerald Bank in Shepparton to Trawool Estate, the Euroa Butter Factory, Brown Brothers and Mitchelton, she knows the district’s venues from the inside.
