Wedding Florists · Warrnambool, Victoria
The Fresh Flower Market trades from a shed at the Warrnambool showgrounds, and it is a working flower market as much as a florist. A fresh load comes in every week from Melbourne and from local growers, carried in the shop’s own cool storage truck and held in a large coolroom. The tone is practical and unpretentious.
The wedding work shown is classic and rounded — coral and white roses with gerberas, gypsophila and eucalyptus. The shop’s stated approach is seasonal: it will tell you what is good that week and build to your budget from there rather than start from a fixed palette.
Couples marrying in or near Warrnambool who are collecting their flowers themselves and want to talk it through face to face. It suits a straightforward brief — bouquets, buttonholes, an arbour arrangement and table centrepieces — rather than a fully styled day.
⚠ The most important thing on the site is something the shop rules out: it does not deliver or install wedding flowers at the venue, and says it will recommend another florist better suited if you need that. Plan to collect. No wedding prices, packages or minimum spend are published. Open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm, closed Sundays and public holidays. Pedestals are available to hire from $50 in two heights.
Very few florists tell you in advance what they will not do. Saying plainly that the flowers stay at the shop, and offering to point you to someone who will deliver and set up, saves exactly the conversation couples usually have too late. Take it as candour rather than a limitation, and the rest of the offer is easy to plan around.
