RISS is a Sydney team that runs photography and cinematography side by side, out of an office at Macquarie Links in the city’s south-west. They have photographed more than six hundred and fifty weddings across fifteen years, and the operation is built for scale without feeling like a production line - packages are plainly priced, the coverage is sold by the hour, and the answers to the awkward questions are all published.
Style & Approach
Natural, candid and timeless is how they put it, and the work bears it out: steady coverage that does not complicate the day, with the fine-art instinct kept for the landscape frames. They are unusually comfortable with cultural and multicultural weddings - Indian, Punjabi, Pakistani, Lebanese, Turkish and Fijian-Indian ceremonies all have their own place in the portfolio.

Photography starts at $1,750 for six hours and runs to $3,150 for fourteen; adding film starts at $3,150. All prices include GST and extra hours can be added. The gallery arrives in four to six weeks, the highlight film in six to eight, and a same-day edit can be played at the reception. There is no travel charge on full-day packages for Central Coast weddings, and they carry two million dollars of public liability cover.

- Premium Full Day Photo Package — $3,150. Fourteen hours of photography coverage.
- Photo and Cinema Package, Six Hours — $3,150. One photographer and one cinematographer, with a three to four minute cinematic highlight film and the long edit.
