About

Overview & Vibe

Liss started Seed + Salt in 2014 shooting families and newborns, photographed her first wedding in 2015, and went full time in 2017 after losing her father and her best friend in the same stretch of years. She says that loss changed how she sees the job — how quickly life goes, and how much people want photographs they have not seen before. It shows in the work, which is warm and unhurried rather than posed, and in the way she talks about couples: get to know them first, understand what they value, then build the day around that.

Style & Approach

Candid and natural, with Liss mostly in the background catching the unguarded moments — but she will step forward and take charge when the day needs steering, so the couple stays clear of the behind-the-scenes stress. If you have locations in mind she wants to hear them; if you would rather leave it to her, she has it covered. The frames run to bare feet in long grass, confetti in black and white, and a champagne bottle going off on a verandah.

Ideal For

Couples marrying anywhere on the Mid North Coast who want one photographer who will also help them plan the day. Especially good for eco-conscious, adventure-minded couples eloping or keeping the guest list to fifty — that is a named product here, not an afterthought, and she has written at length about why smaller weddings suit the couples having them.

The Need-to-Knows

Elopements start at $2,500 and wedding collections at $3,200; a non-refundable $950 secures the date and comes off the total, and payment plans are available. Every wedding collection includes a complimentary couples session and a timeline consultation. The gallery lands in roughly six to twelve weeks depending on the season, and you download straight to your phone.

Standout Feature

The complimentary pre-wedding shoot is not just a shoot. It is a relaxed hour somewhere nearby where you take a few casual photos and spend the rest of the time walking through the wedding day itself — building the timeline, working out what runs when. She will also point you toward other suppliers she has worked alongside if you ask in the questionnaire.
