It began with the Old School House and grew into a place its owners describe as an enchanted hideaway — fountains, statuary, ancient figs, lit garden paths and a mirrored salon. The venue takes one wedding at a time on exclusive hire and works personalised rather than packaged, running Colonial High Tea and Fairy Tale offerings alongside the wedding day itself. The Guest House holds eight large guest rooms with king beds, ensuites, sofas and chairs, all opening onto a central landscaped courtyard with a plunge pool, and views over the meadow, creek and gardens; all eight must be hired for the wedding night, at $380 plus GST per room per night including a hearty country breakfast served at 8am.
