Esplanade Events runs the Sutherland Shire’s beachfront celebration rooms — a partnership between Cronulla RSL and Cronulla Surf Club putting weddings within steps of Cronulla Beach’s golden sand and Norfolk pines. It’s the Shire’s classic seaside wedding: barefoot ceremony on the beach, reception above the surf.
The Surf Club’s Ball Room hosts up to 200 guests with beach views, while the Purcell Room adds an outdoor balcony over the sand for 100. Across the road, the RSL’s Gerrale Room and the Soldiers rooms on the Esplanade offer flexible spaces to 130 with ocean panoramas and modern AV throughout. Ceremonies are booked on Cronulla Beach or Shelly Park Beach, both a short walk away.
Shire couples wanting a true beach wedding with a polished reception close by — ocean views included at every step.
The Purcell Room balcony — vows on the sand below, then champagne directly above Cronulla Beach as the afternoon sun turns the water gold.
