Style & Approach

The work is documentary: quiet, honest moments rather than long posed sequences. He is candid about what he does not do, no half hour spent recreating a shot from Pinterest, no tiara arranged on a bed of roses. What he looks for instead is late afternoon light on a floral arrangement, a reflection in a window, a tangled veil, the small tears. On the largest elopement collection a roll of 35mm film is shot, developed and scanned alongside the digital work.
