Nigel Unsworth runs a boutique studio at 89 Queen Street in Berry, on the NSW South Coast, one of the few wedding photographers with a street address rather than a base city. Most of his weddings are across the Southern Highlands and the South Coast. He has studied creative arts and photography at university, is a PhD candidate in creative arts, and has won awards nationally and internationally, including three Silvers at the AIPP Epson Professional Photography Awards NSW.

Style & Approach

Timeless, artistic and elegant, which is how the studio describes itself and also what the pictures look like: strongly lit, richly graded, and unafraid of weather, dusk and deep shadow. Heritage houses, stone chapels, autumn foliage and open paddocks recur. There is a separate candid gallery for the looser reportage frames, and fine-art printing is a stated part of the craft rather than an afterthought.
