Splitters Farm is a working 160-acre farm ten minutes north of Bundaberg, bordered by Splitters Creek. It is a camping and day-trip destination first — alpacas, highland cows, canoes, goat yoga — and it is refreshingly blunt about what that makes it: “Splitters Farm isn’t your typical white-marquee wedding venue or hotel ballroom.”
Setting & Style
The named event space is The Grazing Station & Sunset Deck, available for exclusive hire — a brick-and-timber pavilion opening onto the paddocks, which the venue’s own photographs show set with a single long table, native flowers and paddock views down its length. Beyond it the appeal is, in the venue’s words, “the natural beauty of our creek, the character of corrugated iron sheds, and oak timber wine barrels”, with grounds hire available on request and a plethora of locations for the ceremony itself.
Ideal For
Couples who want their guests to stay on site and make a weekend of it, and who are relaxed about the rustic-working-farm setting rather than fighting it. Accommodation runs from powered and unpowered camping to Eco Safari Tents and retrovans, it is pet-friendly, and the farm is unusually well set up for children.

No capacity is published either. The other thing to plan around: this is a bring-your-own-suppliers venue. The farm supplies the space, a full commercial kitchen and local contacts for marquee hire, decorators and caterers, but you assemble the wedding around it.
