In The Grove sits on Rosedale Road about ten kilometres north of Bundaberg, a purpose-built garden wedding venue set among macadamia plantations and run by its owners, Ian and Sandy. Ceremony and reception happen in one place, and the pricing is published in full — guest tier by guest tier — which almost nothing else in regional Queensland does.
Setting & Style
Ceremonies take one of several spots in 1.4 hectares of tropical and European-inspired gardens: a Federation gazebo, a corten-steel water-feature arbour, a rose and hydrangea garden, or a clearing beneath tall pines. The reception moves to a permanent fifteen-by-ten-metre hip-sided marquee with no central poles, two sides that open to the country air, overhead fans, and over three hundred metres of fairy lights through the roof, with space for two chandeliers and optional white silk linings. An outdoor patio adjoins it. The venue is BYO with no corkage, styles the room in-house, and manages suppliers and the run of the day.

Couples who want ceremony and reception on one site with the styling, coordination and setup handled for them, and who would rather compare published prices than request a quote.
The Need-to-Knows
- The marquee seats up to 120 guests; the published package table runs to 100, with larger numbers quoted on request.
- Standard packages are priced per guest tier from $17,186 for 40 guests to $24,109 for 100, all including GST, a $65 per head catering allowance and a $1,300 styling allowance — but excluding soft drink and alcohol.
- Guest numbers include the couple and the bridal party.
- Smaller options: Ceremony Only $2,750, a Micro Wedding at $7,280 for 20–40 guests, and the Summer Saver at $13,500. A midweek wedding takes $1,000 off the Friday–Saturday rate.
- It is a BYO venue with no corkage — you supply the drinks and they are served from a central bar. Guests may not bring their own.
- No accommodation on site. The venue states it is a reception and event venue only, and will recommend places nearby.
- Catering is arranged through partner chefs and caterers rather than made in-house; hire items must come from the venue.

- None. The venue states plainly that it does not offer accommodation - it is a reception and event venue only - and points to accommodation nearby, offering recommendations by style. It will arrange a dedicated bus to collect guests and return them to their accommodation, and is happy for cars to be left overnight.
Price Notes
- In The Grove publishes a complete price list in a wedding packages guide dated V2 08/08/2025 and valid until 31 August 2027. Standard packages are priced by guest tier, all inclusive of GST, a $65 per head catering allowance and a $1,300 styling allowance, and all excluding soft drink and alcohol. Guest numbers include the couple and the bridal party. 40 guests $17,186 (additional guests $125.70 per head); 50 guests $18,359 ($139.10); 60 guests $19,834 ($118.70); 70 guests $21,021 ($108.80); 80 guests $22,109 ($107.90); 90 guests $23,188 ($92.10); 100 guests $24,109, with numbers over 100 quoted on request. Availability is Friday to Saturday 3:00pm to 12:00am, and Sunday plus Monday to Thursday 3:00pm to 10:00pm. A midweek wedding, Monday to Thursday 3:00pm to 10:00pm, takes $1,000 inc GST off the Friday-Saturday rate for everything included in the standard package.
- Smaller and seasonal packages. Ceremony Only $2,750 - three hours venue hire, minimum 2 to 100 guests, 32 white folding chairs, signing table, PA and music system, 2 wine barrel tables, 5 covered dry bars and stools, undecorated wedding arbor, iced water, tea and coffee for 40 guests; available Monday to Thursday, with Friday and Saturday dates bookable three months out. Micro Wedding $7,280 - four hours venue hire, minimum 20 to 40 guests, adding 5 wine barrel tables, a grazing table, soft drinks and a two-hour in-house photographer; available all months excluding August to October. Summer Saver $13,500 - eight hours venue hire, minimum price is 60 guests, adding clothed round tables, canapes and a main meal, centrepieces, cutlery, crockery and glassware, BYO bar setup and the all-weather marquee; available 1st December to 28th February excluding public holidays. Cocktail Style Package $22,836 inc GST for 100 guests, including a $65 per head cocktail food allowance and an $800 styling allowance, with other numbers quoted individually.
- Two all-inclusive seasonal packages are also published as web pages. Summer Saver 2027 at $225 per person inc GST, minimum $13,500 based on 60 guests, $225 per head from 60 up to 100. Winter Vogue 2027 at $235 per person inc GST, minimum $16,450 based on 70 guests, $235 per head from 70 up to 100, and adding patio heaters. Both secure a date with a $1,000 booking fee, and both include ceremony chairs, round or trestle tables, American-style folding chairs, table linen and coloured napkins, centrepieces, venue flowers, canapes on the patio, alternate drop dining, a tea and coffee station, cake cutting and presentation, rustic bar setup, drinks cold room, managed BYO with no corkage, garden furniture, the all-weather marquee, exclusive use, parking, toilets, specialty lighting, playlist on the house audio system, roaming mic and PA, wishing well and gift table, setup and cleaning. Items can be upgraded or added, but removing items does not reduce the price because the package is sold as a discounted whole rather than as individually priced parts. NOTE a date inconsistency on the venue's own site: the Summer Saver 2027 page says 'available from December 1st 2026 to December 1st 2027', while the pricing index page and the packages guide both give the Summer Saver window as 1 December to 28 February.
- Catering is arranged through partner chefs and caterers rather than cooked in-house, and the guide publishes indicative bands inc GST: food van $40 to $50, caterer $60 to $70, cocktail services $55 to $70, chef services $85 to $110. The $65 per head allowance built into package pricing covers a caterer preparing an alternate drop meal. The venue is BYO with no corkage fee and states this stretches a drinks budget four to five times further than a licensed venue; the couple supplies the alcohol and it is served from a central bar, and guests may not bring their own. Measured spirits require bar staff to be added to the quote. All hire items in the price list must be hired from the venue; anything it has to source externally is charged at cost plus 20%.
