The Kooralbyn Valley is a resort on 800 acres in the Scenic Rim, eighty minutes from both Brisbane and the Gold Coast. It has an international golf course, lakes, a day spa and rooms for the whole guest list — and it offers four ceremony settings and three reception spaces, which is more choice than almost anything else in the region.

Setting & Style

Ceremonies happen at the lakeside setting, beneath the wedding pavilion, in the Bush Chapel with its lake views, or out on the golf course itself. Receptions split three ways: the Banquet Hall for 160, Lilies Restaurant for 200 with indoor and outdoor space, or The Valley Grove — an open-sided rustic shed strung with festoons, complete with a bonfire zone.

Ideal For

Destination weddings where the guests stay the weekend. Accommodation runs from Queen Twin rooms to a Presidential Suite with an eight-person hot spa on the balcony, and there is golf, horse riding, a pool and a day spa to fill the days either side.

Nothing is priced. Packages are tailored and quoted on enquiry — the only figure on the site is a spend threshold for a suite promotion, not a rate. The Valley Grove has no published capacity, so if that is the room you want, establish the number early.
